Cairns Crystal Cascades Holiday Park

Absolutely loved our stay here. We had a few nights in a powered site the 1st time we stayed, then we came back a week later for another 3 nights and booked an ensuite site. Large sites, clean amenities, lovely pool are and friendly staff. The location is magnificent, we loved the walks by Freshwater Creek and the dog loved swimming. Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed at a powered site for 6 days! It felt like 2 weeks! The shared kitchen is filthy, the showers were always grimy. The pool is that grimy people have managed to write their names around the edge of the pool. There was 1 lovely lady at reception that worked on the Sunday we checked in but otherwise the lady that was their every other day was rude and and made me feel uncomfortable. The power point attached to our site and the next doors was faulty and I talked to reception about it. As the power would just switch off. She didn’t get it fixed and then tried putting new people in the same spot. Luckily I had said something to them before they set up and they changed their powered site. Apparently the receptionist forgot about the power issues!!! There was also an aggressive man and our children watched him hit his daughter badly, police were called and reception let this man stay for the remainder of our visit, which made it worse for our family as we couldn’t leave our caravan without seeing him. I would never recommend staying here, it’s extremely unprofessional, unhygienic and definitely not worth half of the money we spent here.

Stayed in cabin 4, room wasn't ready on arrival had to wait two hours, had dirty ac, and fans, the shower was mouldy and had ants & dirt in the shower corners. light globs blown in the bathroom, batteries not working in television control, wifi reception was horrible.. definitely not worth the price they charge. Extremely rude front desk receptionist tried to blame me for their lack of room maintenance and hung up on me over the phone.. don't waste your money staying here 💯
